My journey has been one of discovery, resilience, and faith, and I want to share a bit of that with you.
I’ve spent most of my career in Higher Education, working hard to make sure that institutions are places where everyone—students, staff, and faculty—can truly thrive. I’m passionate about creating equitable environments, where policies and leadership aren’t just words on paper but are lived out in ways that nurture the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of everyone involved. Whether it’s improving workflow systems or addressing racial inequities, my goal is always the same: to make a meaningful difference.
I’ve been blessed to speak on resilience, leadership presence, and restoration after trauma but I never envisioned that my occupational and communal endeavors were positioning me for ministry. I grew up with a mix of Floridian hospitality and city grit, influenced and raised by grandparents and parents who taught me the importance of faith, prayer, and perseverance, but my life hasn’t always been easy.
I once imagined I’d be the fun, “rich auntie” spoiling my nieces, nephews, and cousins but I learned firsthand what it was like to fight for my identity, peace of mind, and position while showing up as a wife, mother, trauma and abuse survivor, and woman. But, my faith in Jesus Christ anchored me and allowed me to experience God’s healing, transformational power, and the capacity to empower others to walk in freedom and purpose. I ceased resisting who God called me to be and surrendered to the position He called me to instead.

Positioned is a space where we can come together, learn from one another, and grow into the women God has called us to be. My message is simple: no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve gone through, you have the power to overcome and live a life of purpose.
Through Positioned, I invite women to lay down their crowns and embrace the transformative power of the Cross. It’s only through the Cross that we can access the true power that God has for us and remain purposed in the earth. I’m here to walk alongside you on this journey, to remind you that nothing can stop the power of God from working in your life when you submit to His Spirit. I believe in the beauty of your story and the power of your purpose.

Kenya M. Mathis
Kenya Mathis possesses financial prowess and anointing to maintain the operational demands of multimillion dollar government entities. Kenya continues to expand her own real estate portfolio, while bringing Biblically based integrity to companies’ business protocols and policies. Kenya is a voice for mothers and family leaders. Hailing from the city of Chester, Pennsylvania, Kenya’s story reverberates with the hearts of daughters and sons called to lead, without a blueprint. Her ministry is directed towards the strong and in-demand community and family leader, who also experiences isolation because of the uniqueness of their visionary abilities. Kenya lives the story of grace through affliction. Kenya is the mother of a young lion for the Kingdom of God, Ari Chase.
Markiya L. Fagan
Markiya Fagan has led organizational change for nearly 30 years. With a focus on nonprofit management, Markiya moves the missions of organizations forward through personnel, budget, and operational efficiency. In addition to her marketplace output, Markiya is a Prophet of God attuned to the commands of heaven for earth and author of Journey to the Ring. She along with her husband, Robert Fagan, are the Pastors of Freedom Nation Global Fellowship. Their family story includes the miracle birth of Abigail Reign. Markiya’s testimony and ministry is one of healing and triumph over a barren womb.
Lavonya A. Sharpe
Lavonya Sharpe is a world traveler and financial guru, known for cultivating order in the midst of the chaotic processes of business start-ups, transitions, and restructuring. Over the span of 20+ years, Lavonya has held executive level roles in finance and business, within nationally recognized businesses and service providers. Lavonya has a heart and expertise for empowering others to achieve financial wellness. She is anointed for imparting tools and knowledge to achieve practices of saving and achieving financial goals, with the resources one possesses. Lavonya is the proud mommy of a brilliant girl. Ms. Sharpe provides financial services to small businesses and families, through her company Explore Cents.
Chanel Purnell
Chanel Purnell is simply a woman who loves Jesus, enjoys fashion, family, and most importantly her faith. As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, Chanel possesses a fervent commitment to align every aspect of her life with the Word of God. Chanel’s experience in education exceeds 15 years of direct instruction. Mrs. Purnell Thoroughly enjoys navigating the intricate journey of learners from birth through High school. This passion has led to the establishment of a thriving virtual learning platform, Learning Beyond Barriers Academy. Overall, Chanel’s joy is increased through connecting with people as they journey with Christ. She lives the mission of, “inclusive of all exclusive of none”, adopted from her parent’s church, Healing Balm Ministries. The lens of this mission has driven the development of Bible Book Club Besties (BBCB), a support group for women seeking to grow in the knowledge of Christ, according to 2 Peter 3:18. BBCB provides an intimate setting for women to glean from one another and be fortified by Kingdom Ambassadors. Chanel is a proud wife to Joe, and mother to Chanel.

Dr. Deanna Romulus, Ed.D, MBA, is a distinguished financial advisor with a fervent dedication to empowering individuals from underserved communities. Dr. Romulus’ guides clients toward achieving their financial goals, through a unique blend of financial acumen and educational leadership. Deanna has significant experience in risk management, ensuring individuals can navigate potential financial pitfalls and uncertainties with confidence. Working with Dr. Romulus ensures that clients receive robust strategies to safeguard assets and promote long-term financial stability. Dr. Deanna is driven by profound faith and deep relationship with God, as the cornerstone of all decision-making. Alexiss Robinson
Alexiss Robinson is a community engagement and connection expert. After over twenty years in Division I through II university athletics and alumni relations, her professional acumen has evolved into strategic corporate relations, compliance, and donor recruitment. Alexiss has been placed in the earth to challenge injustice and inequity in resource allocation and employee access within corporate and educational environments. Alexiss lives to sow into the soil of prepared and open hearts. An expert in relationship building, Alexiss is sought after to strengthen teams and curate shared purpose for outcome based organizational actions. Alexiss can be seen trailblazing across the globe with her beloved son, Cree.
